Other Species and Their Abilities

I figured this would be easier for those that are different species

Please Note:  Being a human and a wizard is just as powerful as any species.  Also any of these species can be harmed and their techniques do not always work on the wizard or witch in question. 

Animagus
1.  A witch or wizard has honed in on their transfiguration skills and can turn into a certain animal.  They have the ability to turn into only one animal, however they can turn into this animal with the slightest of ease, no pain, no harm, and they take this form for as long as they desire.

2.  Those learning to become the animal cannot hold onto the form for very long.  It can be very difficult for them to turn and if they don't concentrate they will lose the form.

Veelas
1.  Veelas have the gift of alluring someone they feel is worthy of there time.  Though the more power there allurement they may get others in the area that want to impress the veela as well

2.  Veela is normally women but can be men

3.  Veela's have fire power...but only when they are angry and it is used to attack an enemy

4.  Veela's do not use their powers all the time.  Sometimes their power is stronger than other times.  But remember that not everyone will like you, so that can be a time that the veela's powers are not working.

5.  Veela are normally seen with silvery hair and fair skin.  But when angry they become contorted and look like a monster (face becomes bird like and grow wings)  But because the silvery hair is hard to come by we will accept platinum blonde, allowing pure and half bloods to have that color hair as well.

5.  Half veela's will have less alluring skills and fire power than pure veela's.


Parselmouth

1.  You have the ability to speak and associate with snakes

2.  You can control some snakes but remember just like humans snakes have the ability to become unruly and even bite there treasured master


Metamorphagus

1.  They have there ability to change form.  Usually it is only the features of the body too look like the same human but different body features

2.  Some have the ability to transform themselves into different animals though this takes great training and a lot of time.

Werewolves.

1.  Werewolves change into a hybrid form every month for three days during the full moon.  They grow several feet in size, with hair covering their body.  They are literally half man, half beast.  Only bitten werewolves feel the hazard of the change, and this is only during the first full moon after being bitten.  Though werewolves change into the hybrid form of a werewolf, they still have intellect and have thoughts that are their own, generally they are not a danger to anyone.

2.  Werewolves have the ability to phase into a wolf form at will during any time.  This is generally the same size as their human form, but it is a pure wolf.

3.  Werewolves in any form are ten times stronger then a normal human.  They have better stamina, eyesight, hearing and sense of smell.  They are faster then humans, but not as fast as vampires and can run for long distances without being winded.  They can jump far distances as if they are flying through the air.  Whether they are in the human form or wolf form they have their senses outwit any human form.

4.  Werewolves are MUCH warmer then a human.  They constantly feel they are running a high temperature when being felt.

5.  Werewolves are very fast healers.  Any sort of cut, scrape, even fractures to bones can be healed with a minimal amount of time and energy.  They cannot replace limbs, nor can the regrow bones but they can mend much better and faster then a human.

6.  Werewolves can get killed by silver.  Silver to the heart or head will kill a werewolf.  Silver on the flesh will just burn your skin.

7.  Werewolves can be effected by certain spells.  Many spells do not affect werewolves the same way as they do a normal human.  Their response might be slowed but it won't completely knock them out.  However, there are a few special spells fitted for a werewolf to knock them out, but only professionals know them.

8.  On this site you are not allowed to BITE anyone.  If there comes a time when in the plot it looks like that should happen, then PM an admin immediately and we will decide if we agree to it or not.


Vampires.

1.  Vampires have a gentle ability of hypnotism.    Pureblood vampires have this gift at a stronger level.  It is harder for victims to say no to a pureblood rather than a bitten vampire.  Not everyone can fall under prey but those that do become willing volunteers.  Also the better fed one is, the more likely these abilities work.  ((This will be monitored so don't abuse it))

2.  Vampires are stronger then humans.  Vampires are not as strong as werewolves.  Vampires have increased senses including eyesight, hearing and the sense of smell.  They have a increased stamina and are much faster then both human and werewolf alike.  They can jump from several stories without getting injured and can move swiftly it is like flight, but they cannot achieve this.

3.  Vampires have the ability to regenerate from injuries.  This is something that is dependent on the blood source.  If they are freshly fed they will heal much quicker then those that are near starving.

4.  Vampires are much colder then the average human.  In fact many people can catch a chill being too close to the immortal children.

5.  The sun can kill a vampire.  A few moments outside is painful but you will live...haha (theoretically speaking)  But out in the sun for longer than a half an hour, a vampire will die.  It is not smart for vampires to venture out during the heat of the day either...the rays will seep through even the thickest of cloaks.  Protective cloaks can be worn outside, but that only gives you the ability to be outdoors four two hours when the sun out...except for the times between 12-2...it is the worst of the day and you won't be able to stay outside longer than a half an hour under a cloak.

6.  There are many spells that can be used to keep hypnotism off of them and also to harm or even kill vampires...but only trained professionals know these methods.

7.  Vampires have constant fangs.  They can lengthen when they are actually sucking blood, but fangs are always visible when one smiles

8.  Biting...you MUST PM an admin.  If we agree you may bite, and take some of the persons life force.  YOU MAY NOT TRANSFORM ANYONE, WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION.  And even so we will think hard about your plot and why you want to be one before we give you permission.


General Note

This is not Underworld.  This site has been drawn around a basis of HP.  With that being said people will not like eachother, and other species might not like each other.  But on this board the over all status is that vampires and werewolves get along.  If you personally do not like another individual then that is because of you personally NOT because of your entire race.

The only situation that people do not like are pure witches and wizards, the do not like werewolves or vampires looking at them as lesser beings.  Please keep that in mind.

ALSO there are no hybrids on this board.  You cannot be part vampire and part werewolf.  The two species cannot reproduce and that would result in possible death of the mother as well.  So make sure you do not even include these species..

Final note, history wise. Werewolves used to be guardians for Vampires. That I used from Underworld. But they weren't prisoners, they could quit and leave whenever they wanted. They are not FIGHTING!!!!!!!!!!

Bitten by a Werewolf

1. In any event blood must be drawn for the biting to actually have any sort of connection or damage to the individual

2.  If you are bitten by a werewolf when he is a werewolf then you will become a werewolf.  The two will share a blood bond and the werewolf becomes the sire.  The two will share many things upon which can be decided between the two.

3.  If you are bitten by a werewolf when he is in his human form you will remain human but you both will share a bond.  This is in essence like a blood bond and the two of you may share emotion, or knowing where the other is.  This will be a tie between the two.

4.  If bitten for purely meals sake and nothing else is involved then you will have no bond and will receive nothing.  This normally happens with strangers


Bitten by a vampire

1.  Blood must be taken by the vampire for any signficance to take place.

2.  If blood is taken to nearly death and then fed back to the mortal, the mortal will become a vampire.  The two will share a blood bond being and the vampire becomes the sire, sharing many things of which the two can decide.

3.  If blood is taken but not returned to the mortal the two will share a blood bond.  The two will have a binding bond, and either will share emotion or knowledge of always knowing where the other is located.  A constant and forever tie will be between the two until death.

4.  Some bitten are given special gifts from the 'sire'.  They may receive special powers like heightened senses, heightened telepath, or premonition, or hypnotizing those around you.

5.  If bitten for purely meals sake and nothing else is involved then you will have no bond and will receive nothing.  This normally happens between strangers.
