Tara had not seen Artue wrap his hands around the pot. By that time she was already headed to the her seat. So as Kamali apologized she looked at him with a confused gesture before taking her seat and looking back to Artue and then to Kamali. The dry humor was something that Tara tensed on. If there was any chance he was in fact planning on causing the students harm, she had to say something, she couldn't just laugh it off, not the deputy.
"Yes, you must keep true to your threats, you are certainly right about that. However, we are not allowed to physically touch the students or physically harm them. We can make them work, we can make them do things they'd rather not do, however corporal punishment is no longer allowed." Tara had not been an advocate to get rid of the paddling method, however the parents were all too prepared to have that ancient way of punishment leave the school, and it did three years ago. No longer could they hurt the children, unless it was a good day of hard labor, that was in fact still allowed.
Her eyes traveled back to Kamali and shook her head. "I would highly disagree that I have such importance as to be someone's life line." Her eyes stared deep to his. "And I'm not giving anyone a hard time, merely requesting that I remain out of this little debate the two of you share. Women vs Coffee is not the best method to woo a girl." She continued and then looked finally back to her work.
Sipping on her own coffee she waited for a moment, until Gray was finished explaining that his rooms were suitable. "Well, good. Then I hope you are settling in well at the school." To her, he did not look all that comfortable, but she could have been wrong. Perhaps she had entered when they were truly having a debate and she interrupted them, she was not exactly sure.

Artue quickly looked over to Kamali when he apologised about his hand, and put his hands together in front of him, rubbing them together.
"Ohh there was no harm done..." Gray said as he took his hands apart to show they were fully healed, "It was almost if nothing even happened."
Artue could clearly see the discomfort he had caused the pair with his remarks, however he never hurt the children himself. on the contary, they all attacked eachother. Artue simply showed them what to do in a dummy. The only way a child would get hurt in his presence, is if they hurt themselves. Unforutinatly, this seemed to happen more then not. He was not looking forward to the day that his students actually do some real damage to one another.
Artue listened to the pair talk about the comaprison between women and coffee, and listened very carfully to the conversation between the two. Could he be wrong yet again? Could something be happening between the two? were they just exceedingly good at hiding it? Gray thought it would be best to throw in some sort of comment, otherwise his akward silence would clearly be noticed.
"Well there is no contest in my eyes which is better," Artue began walking over and seating himself, looking at Tara with a raised eyebrow, before leaning back into the sofa, "Coffee wins every time."
Arute truly felt he was getting use to this "Humor" business.

A trim eyebrow raised ever so slightly when Gray showed an unhurt hand, well he was a wizard so he probably used some sort of silent spell to correct it. With a shrug he let all thought of it go and focused once again upon his drink. He glanced up as Tara started talking about threats as well and he could not help but to shake his head.
“Oh Miss. Godard we are just joking. I will own to the fact that it is not the best tease about hurting students so I will bow to your scolding and not joke about such a dislikable subject,” he dropped his gaze as if he were ashamed. In truth he was trying to hide the glint of amusement in his eyes. Not that he truly found physically harming a student pleasing in the sort he was just amused at how ruffled her feathers had become. “Although I do disagree with the not touching the students at all. I mean how else are we to help if one gets themselves hurt or if one were to stumble would you just let them fall instead of catching them? Or if you saw one crying to looking rather miserable. Sometimes a simple pat on the hand or gentle hug across the shoulders does more wonders than any sort of advice we could give them. Of course any further then that is not excitable.”
He chuckled a little at her hostility about being compared to a cup of coffee but could not help laughing even more at Gray’s response to preferring a cup of coffee. “Smart man,” he hoped that Tara would not ring it over his head later but he could not help teasing her like this.
“Yes it is a good that you are setting in. If you ever need any help just look me up. Of course you might have a few problems finding me awake during most of the day. I do sleep like that dead,” he knew it was a bad joke but he could not resist. “But mornings and evening to night I’m normally about and willing to help.”

Tara turned her head slightly to Kamali. "Of course there are always exceptions to the rule." She said, her voice still tight, trying to not get flustered by the two men. "But, no I wouldn't hug my students." She said very simply, and she wasn't lying about that. She was very gentle when needing to be, she could sit down and talk to them, put a comforting hand to theirs, but never would she hug them. Never would she be so intimate, she was very clear that she was not a teacher that would ever leave a student down any road that they felt uncomfortable. "I would help mend their wounds or attempt to stop them in a fight, or try to comfort them, but hug them in any way, no. Students have such fragile minds, I do not want them to get the wrong impression."
She was clear on her beliefs and no one would sway her otherwise. She returned to her work, her lips twitching slightly when Artue said that coffee would win every time, and Kamali furthering his behavior by telling him that he was a good man. The two were simply atrocious and the tension in her neck made it clear that Kamali was not going to live this down if they ever got the chance to be alone again.
She decided to just ignore the two men. Her eyes surveying the latest paper from the ministry. Her eyes narrowing slightly, her entire body tensing from the letter. She said nothing to the men. She was under investigation. The headmaster was fearful that her having a tie, or had a tie to Julian could mean harm to the students. Her hands were in tight balls and she stood very carefully, walking out onto the small balcony. Shutting the door behind her, she was careful to pull the blind down and then insisted on screaming at the skies, and yelling at the headmaster that was not outside with her, for she was very much alone. But the anger and tension had just added to be too much, and she had to vent somehow.
The letter, lying carefully on top of the pile of the rest of her paperwork.

Artue laughed to himself at Tara's remarks, before stepping toward the kitchen again, placeing his cup in the sink and washing it.
"My dear, the last thing I would ever do to a student, is hug them...that is what mothers are for." He replied simply,m before his mind wandered to his own mother, the woman he hadn't seen in years. He didn't even know if she was still on this earth. ever since his father he had grown distant from his mother, until the point where he doubted he would ever see her again.
"Well I would love to stay and chat to you both some more, but I fear that if I do, I shall say something I will only regret." Artue said softly before walking over to the door and opening it. Turning once again to the pair, he took a slight bow.
"I shall bid you both, a good evening." and thoes were his final words, before he left the room, closeing the door behind him.

Looking between the other two Kamali felt like shaking his head at the fact that things had changed so much. At one time not long ago giving a student or younger child a hug would not be thought of as wrong. No one would think the child was going to get the wrong idea just from a simple hug. They would not read so much into something so simple or even so much into more simple things than just a hug. Of course he knew that even years ago there were people who took advantage of that but it seemed from the few who did wrong all were blamed.
His attention was taken from his thoughts as he saw the change in Tara’s attitude. Something was wrong he could tell and it had something to do with the ministry from what he could see of the letter from where he sat. Not that he could see any of what it said but it was ministry paper work he could tell.
“See ya later Gray,” he said with a wave watching the man leave just about the same time that Tara headed out onto the balcony. When he heard the scream of frustration he sighed. Reaching over he lifted the paper off the stack and read it over. At that moment he felt like planting the headmaster a facer.
“Mipsy attend,” he spoke softly. In a moment the little house elf was next to him. She could tell from how he spoke not to say anything not yet, “Mipsy ask my mother to see if one of her friends could look into this matter.” He showed her the letter after Mipsy looked it over she then popped out.
No he could not get this dismissed or anything like that. But if he could get the ministry proof that Tara was not under any sort of influence at all. And that Julian was safely under vampire control they might ease up. Also with the vampire council taking over responsibility for Julian’s actions it should help remove any fault from Tara or at least most of it. Although the ministry were a slippery bunch at times and not easy to work with.
Getting up he walked quietly to the door and checked outside of it to make sure no one was standing around before he closed it with a sealing and silencing ruin. It would only last for about twenty minutes if not removed but that would be long enough for him to talk to Tara. Moving to the balcony he opened the door and stepped out.
“So do we plot to associate the headmaster or just prove that his unfit and undermine his authority,” he asked with a smirked. Although he was teasing he almost felt like doing one of those things if not both.

Tara had finished her little tyraid and verbal abuse to the skies when she heard someone approaching the door. Her head rested on the cold beam of the balcony, hands gripping tight to keep her steady as she felt a wave of sickness take over. Tara stood, though was very still and rigid when her head turned to see who was on the balcony with her. Her eyes looked past him to see if anyone else was going to follow and realized that Gray had left.
She felt sorry that she had probably caused him to leave, but she could not help the given situation that had landed in her lap like some secret bomb ready to blow off half her face. Her eyes lifted to Kamali, his attempt at humor given any other situation would have brought her a laugh or at least caused her to ridicule him in some way. But not tonight.
It was all just too much. Tara broke down standing there, she attempted at laughter but the tears flooded forth and she shielded her face from him and turned away. "How could they think any of that? Julian would have never harmed a student, I wouldn't have allowed it. It wouldn't matter what he had over me, or the control he knew that when it came to students even his power would not be able to have me give in. He never came into the school, it was off campus that he found me. Off campus that he came."
She shook her head as if she were already on trial. "Why are they persecuting me when I am saving this school? The headmaster is the one that is never here." She sighed heavily shaking her head, pushing her tears angrily away and trying to calm herself but it wasn't working. "he is the one that doesn't do anything for this school."

It was not overly that surprising that she did not respond the his humor as he had hoped with all the things that seemed to be crashing down upon her. He let her go on and ask her question but he just stood there his arms crossed debating weather or not he should tell her that he was going to try and get the vampire council to help out with this. In some ways he felt he should tell her in others he almost felt the she would become upset and annoyed that he had already taken it into his hands. After a little more debating he decided he would tell her but make sure she understood that it would probably still not be all that easy even with their help. It was better for her to find out now then for her to find out later then become madder because he had not told her at all.
“Its not you they don’t trust it’s us vampire and our power that we can have over mortals. Although why their putting you under investigation and not me and some of the other vampires I just don’t understand. I would be more of or just as much of a danger to the students as Julian could be. Not that he would,” Kamali agreed with her. Julian would not put the students in danger because it would just cause too much trouble for him. If he hurt any of the students he would have a whole horde of anger wizards on his tail.
“I have sent Mipsy with a message for my mother to have some of her friends look into this. We might not be able to do anything but there is a chance if we can prove that it’s our reasonability for keeping Julian locked up and for not keeping track of his actions over all these years then they just might ease up. Or it could all back fire and I would get fired along with you,” he said with a shrug. He wanted to move closer to her and take her in his arms but he was not sure if any one could see them from any of the other windows. That was the last thing they needed was to be caught. They would defiantly get fired then and he was not willing to chance that. Although he liked the school it would not hurt him too much if he was let go but he knew it met a lot to Tara and for that reason he would not endanger her job.

Tara understood what Kamali was saying. She even agreed that it made no sense that she was being put under and not some vampire. But she knew there had to be more to this. "It is probably the headmaster himself. He has been staying a lot at the ministry. He wants to go back and do his research instead of being here. But I'm certain he does not think I am in the position to take over completely. He has probably even let slip things he's overheard from students or something or another. Though I have kept this secret and only told you Kamali, the walls do have ears. I am certain he has had spies at this school the entire time. Being that the ministry does not want to upset the entire vampire community, they have probably decided to alienate one who has been under control. I wouldn't even be surprised if they decide to do tests and see how I've changed."
Her tears had stopped but her shaking body still had not. She hated this situation. She hated everything about it. In her eyes it still wasn't fair and yet she knew that at the moment it didn't matter. It didn't matter what she thought, she was going on trial. The news, though, of the council getting involved did not upset her. "I hope it doesn't back fire" She said her tones still soft. "It is not the council's job to do all of this, it isn't. But I know that you are trying to alleviate the burden."
Even though he would not move closer, Tara did. The rules of the school had been changed in previous years. A few headmasters ago she had fallen in love with a teacher. She had made the changes and paved the way for teacher and headmaster alike to be able to have some sort of life and future and not feel the need to be forever alone. "Thank you for you desire to help Kamali, but I do not want you to get into trouble." She stated softly, her hand went up fingers lightly moved through his hair. Tears still shimmered in her eyes, ready to fall at any moment, but she held them back trying to remain strong.

“I don’t think a few heightened since are going to make you ineligible to teach a class and deal with students one on one. In fact maybe we can turn it around to being a very good advantage that you have them. I mean I don’t know how many times I was able to catch some student trying to do something when they thought I could not hear them,” he said with a bit of a smile. “Also the fact that the headmaster wants to well ditch this job will help. Maybe we can kind of sweet talk him into easing up things and drop some charges. If he wants to leave so bad then he couldn’t find a better person to take his place.”
“It’s not your job either. This had not been your choice; the fact was you were not given a choice it was taken from you. The only one here to blame is Julian. And don’t worry about it backfiring; my mother is rather discrete about how she handles things. I think that most that will be done is just a few hints that the situation was not your fault and that as soon as you found a way to remove the threat you did,” although he was not fully sure of what his mother would do but he was sure she would hardly even disturb the surface.
Even if the rules had changed he knew lots of parents frowned upon close conduct between teachers. It was a bad example to set for the student or so they thought. It was true some students would use that as an excuse to do what they wanted but those kids would find anything to do what they wanted. As soon as her hand slipped into his hair he grinned and decided if she was not going to keep her distance than why should he. His hand snaked around her waist as he pulled her closer his head coming down to lightly brush a kiss upon those lovely full lips.
“Even if it all back fires I will not leave you to stand alone,” he than captured her lips again this time in a longer more passionate kiss.

Kamali had a point. Her heightened senses was not something of concern, not in the large scheme of things. So then, what was the concern? Was she wrong? Perhaps it was Julian himself that was sending along the information, trying in some way to get to her, knowing that right now he couldn't. The thought made her shiver. Her mother had tried to defy him and she had been killed by his hand. Perhaps that was her outcome as well. Now she was just speculating and it was making her go a bit batty with it all.
"I know." She tilted her head looking at him. "You are right, the added senses were a help not a hinderance, and you are right this entire thing wasn't my fault. But the ministry is filled with pompous over stuffed shirts that think that they know better because they have some degree instead of living the life they are trying to ruin." She believed this for most things. They made rules for the schools when none of them had been teachers, they made rules for being medics or lawyers or for anything and they were none of those things. They stood on their pillars giving out rules and yet never having to follow any themselves.
Tara was pulling back. Her fingers had moved through his soft hair and she was going to step back when he moved his cool hand and pulled her in. At first she was caught off guard, shuffling feet moved forward as she bent backwards slightly to regain herself and then his lips caught hers in a gentle kiss. Immediately she felt a calm wrap around her much like a blanket.
"Thank you." She whispered against his lips. He'd never realize how much his words meant to her. To know that he wasn't going to jump bail or abandon her right now when things were hitting rock bottom for her. It made her feel like she could face this knowing someone was going to fight for her instead of everyone trying to fight her and break her down.
She had no chance to say anything further. His lips again crashed down and she moved her arms, wrapping around his neck, fingers tangling into his hair, and she pushed against him letting all inhibitions go. She was a fretful mess, she could feel the possibility of her being put on the chopping block and yet, at the moment none of it mattered. Right now she just wanted to be with Kamali and nothing more.

There would have been agreement from Kamali if he knew what she was thinking about the ministry. Their rules were lots of times out of date and did not even apply to what was going on. But some were not as bad as the rest which gave one hope that things could be turned around. They were too in the box most of the time on things you just wanted to drag them out and force them to live with the real world for a moment. The ironic part was that he had chosen to live within their rules, for the time being that is. Although it was true the vampires were trying to get along and they were trying to bend their necks a little they did not really have to live within the rules. In fact most did not except to the point so the mortals would not hunt them and become a bother. No he had went further than lots of others by teaching at the school.
As Tara yielded to the demand of his lips a hungry groan that had nothing to do with blood rumbled in his throat. His arms pulled her closer molding her body to his. His hands worked up and down her back filling the curves that fit so well into his hands. It was a bit of a strain to bring his head up and not to start to kiss along her neck liked he wanted to do.
“You are rather distracting you know,” he gave her a teasing smirk before lightly kissing her again as he hands loosened his hold. Still lightly running his fingers up and down her sides he watched her face for a moment. “The sealing spell I put on the door is almost up.”
He raised his wrist to show a lightly flashing symbol upon it. “And even if that was not going to be up for a bit I still have to get back on duity. I was only supposed to be on a half hour brake and it’s been over that by fifteen minutes or so. It is a full moon and things always seem to get out of hand on these nights.”

His hunger did not go unnoticed. The two had spent little time together and she too missed his touch, her desire, their bodies colliding. But he let up the tight embrace and moved his lips from her. Breathless, Tara lifted her head to him, part of her showing the desire to continue while the rest of her knew they were not in the appropriate place to continue but still was finally for once enjoying herself.
Her eyes moved to his wrist, her fingers soon loosened her hold on him and she sighed. "You're right." She sighed pushing strands of hair back into place. Besides the sealing spell being up both had work to get back to, just like he reminded her.
"I know. Get back to work. I need to get some sleep myself. I'll post a response to the ministry tomorrow when I can think properly." She said lifting to kiss him once more.
She moved to open the door and carefully entered noticing that no one was in the room and moved her way to the pile of work. "At least most of this stuff is done and just needs to be filed. The house elves can do that though." She was glad that the pile in front of her was only the top third and not the entire thing. She'd never be finished. Looking back to Kamali she frowned slightly. "Perhaps this weekend we can see each other. If not, well two weeks and we leave for your house." She smiled glad that in two weeks time they'd be free of this place. She knew she'd have to go to the ministry two weeks after that, but she'd have Kamali by her side and somehow that made her feel better in some way.

At this point in time he hated being right for it meant he had to leave her while when went hand hunted down students who did not want to be hunted down. But that was his job at this point of time and that was just what he had to do. He grinned at her as she fixed his hair. Reaching up he caught a lock of hers and brought it to his mouth kissing it lightly.
“If you ever feel alone or need my help just call for Mipsy to get me. She is tuned to your voice and will respond where ever you are. And don’t think I did that. She decided all on her own that you should be able to call her. And please do call on her she will be rather pleased if you did,” he placed the lock of hair back around her shoulders before moving away towards to the doors.
“I’m sure the house elves will be very pleased to help you in whatever you need. I know some people think we take advantage of them and yes some wizards do. But I also know that they love to please and work and if you don’t give them something to do they get upset. I always have to make sure I don’t cross the line and over use Mipsy,” he said thoughtfully.
“Yes this weekend I think would be nice. I don’t have any duties for it so if you can get away that would be wonderful.”

Tara was surprised that Mipsy had done this all on her own. She believed Kamali, Mipsy was a rather headstrong house elf that felt a bit of freedom and the need to push at that freedom. Tara was proud of her for that but it did surprise her that Mipsy now knew her voice so well that all she had to do was call. Of course the house elf Fane that Mipsy was so fond of, knew Tara's voice as well as he was generally her most trusted house elf.
"I will remember that." Tara said softly.
"Well, I think the house elves won't mind this one task." She said shrugging, picking up the stack of papers and walking towards the door.
She turned to give him one last smile. "I'll try to keep my calender open." She said gently and then opened the door and headed out for her room. There she planned on getting the house elves to help her and then off to bed for some much needed sleep.
